Why it matters

The right lighting transforms how a home looks and functions — and outdated, failing, or poorly placed fixtures do the opposite. Whether you're updating to efficient LED, adding recessed lighting, installing ceiling fans, or fixing flickering and dead fixtures, professional installation ensures it's done safely and looks right.

How it works

We install, replace, and repair interior and exterior lighting, ceiling fans, recessed (can) lighting, under-cabinet lighting, dimmers, and switches. New fixtures are mounted securely, wired to code, and matched to the right switching and dimming. Ceiling fans require proper rated boxes and bracing to support their weight and motion safely.

Maintenance that pays off

LED fixtures are long-lasting and low-maintenance. It's worth replacing failing bulbs promptly, having any flickering or buzzing checked (it can indicate a wiring or fixture issue), and keeping fan blades clean and balanced. We'll flag anything that needs attention during service.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

Can you install ceiling fans where there's no fan now?

Yes. Installing a fan where only a light existed often requires a fan-rated box and bracing to safely support the weight and motion. We handle that as part of the install.

Why do my LED lights flicker on a dimmer?

Often the dimmer isn't LED-compatible. Older dimmers were designed for incandescent bulbs; swapping in an LED-rated dimmer usually fixes the flicker. We'll match the right control to your fixtures.

Can you add recessed lighting to an existing room?

Yes. We can add recessed (can or canless) lighting to existing rooms, planning placement for even light and minimizing ceiling disruption.

Should I switch to LED?

LED lighting uses far less energy, lasts much longer, and runs cooler than older bulbs. It's almost always worth upgrading, and we can update fixtures and controls to suit.

Is flickering lighting a safety concern?

It can be. While it's sometimes a simple bulb or dimmer issue, persistent flickering can indicate loose wiring or a failing connection, which is worth having a licensed electrician check.
